I have been quite annoyed with Etsy for some time now so I have decided to close my shop for good. There are several reasons but the two main ones are:

- There's so much clearly not handmade stuff (not even just in the "Vintage"-section but in the "Handmade"-section as well) that the original handcrafted items get lost in the mass of industrial rubbish (see for example: [link]. And Etsy doesn't seem to care as long as they make money with that.

- I don't sell stuff anyway so what's the point in paying listing fees.

So from now on the only place to buy my jewellery will be my own website: [link]. For the next few weeks my Etsy-shop will be in holiday-mode (just in case I change my mind) and then closed.
