Captive inverted round chainmaille necklace that can be worn by men and women.
I used stainless steel for the outer rings and orange and red anodized aluminium for the captive rings. All of the rings are 20ga 5/32" in size. The stainless steel is a corrosion resistant and very tough alloy of steel, nickel and chromium. Anodizing makes aluminum not only colorful but also corrosion resistant (as corrosion resistant as stainless steel in normal conditions). Although the aluminium is very pliable that doesn't affect the strength of the necklace because the aluminium rings don't interlock with the steel rings, they just lie in between and add a little color.
