Turkish round chainmaille bracelets by MermaidsTreasury Turkish round chainmaille bracelets by MermaidsTreasury
This chainmaille bracelet can be worn by both men and women (at least regarding the style; it might be too small for most men's wrists - see length below). The weave is called "Turkish round" and the rings are bronze (the reddish-coloured one in the pictures) and jewelers brass (the golden coloured one).

Jewellers brass (also called "Tombac") is an alloy of copper and zinc but with about half the zinc content of (common) yellow brass. The colour of jewelers brass is very similar to yellow gold when its not tarnished. Bronze is an alloy from copper and tin. It is similar in colour to copper, though much stronger.

Typically bronze and brass oxidize only superficially - once an oxide layer is formed, the underlying metal is protected from further corrosion (bronze also resists seawater corrosion well). The oxide layer becomes a very appealing shiny darker colour.
